2021 - Hypothetical Project Brief - This project takes inspiration from the Streamline Moderne architectural style, reimagining it through contemporary interior design. The goal is to modernise while safeguarding the aesthetic and functional value of buildings from this historic period, ensuring their preservation through adaptive use.

Origins
The concept began with an initial sketch of a floor plan that integrated Streamline Moderne design elements. The plan emphasises open common areas, fluid circulation, and a balance between bold architectural features and the warmth of natural, organic elements.

Client
A couple of older, successful designers with a deep passion for travelling and collecting. They live and work from home, requiring distinct zones that separate their professional and leisure spaces. Their interiors should reflect sophistication, creativity, and their worldly sensibilities.

Objectives

• Create interiors that complement the Streamline Moderne exterior, blending historic architecture with contemporary comfort.
