2024 - The Family House in Horta, Faial, Azores, is a historic property (built in 1927, renovated in 2006) situated atop Conceição Hill, overlooking Horta’s iconic harbour and Pico Island, Portugal’s tallest mountain. Recognized as a key player in one of Europe’s most sustainable destinations, the house seeks to expand its accommodation capacity in response to rising visitor numbers while maintaining its commitment to environmental sustainability and a strong sense of place.
