2021 / 2023 / 2025 - The Family House in Horta, Faial, is a historic residence built in 1927 and renovated in 2006. Perched atop Conceição Hill, it boasts commanding views of Horta’s harbour and Pico Island, Portugal’s tallest mountain. Operating as a vacation rental, the property seeks a slow, phased renovation strategy that enhances guest experience, modernizes key elements, and improves functionality while respecting its historical character and the natural landscape.

Project Objectives
